This one rolled off the assembly line 53 years ago today, in a very different place & time.

now running well with 140 miles since rebuild, it promises many miles and adventures to come.

BMW records indicate the bike sold from the Linder dealership in Blaichach, Germany, southwest of Munich.
I can only speculate how it came over here. More often service men returning to the states would bring their vehicles, I suppose with shipping expenses covered by the service branch.

I finished installing turn signals last night, fairly happy with the results.

every night back from work I like to ride a trip around my city, Tilburg. I life near the border so my rides are a lot in Belgium.
